Terms of Service

Effective October 22, 2026

These terms apply to services, storage, parts orders, and website use with North Shore Powersports LLC (“North Shore Powersports,” “we,” “us”), based in Pinckney, Michigan. A signed estimate or service agreement for your boat controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Estimates

Estimates are based on the boat, engine, and condition information you provide. Prices may change if the vessel differs from what was described or if additional work is needed; we will contact you for approval before performing work outside the accepted estimate. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Drop-Off and Mobile Service

Drop-off is by appointment only; there is no walk-in location. Mobile service is offered in Whitmore Lake, Pinckney, Hamburg, Brighton, South Lyon, Ann Arbor, Dexter, Gregory, Howell, and Fowlerville and includes a $50 travel surcharge per visit. The surcharge is waived when a neighbor books paid service for the same visit. You must provide safe access to the boat, and the boat must be in a condition that allows the work to be done.

Customer Responsibilities

You confirm that you own the boat or are authorized to arrange service for it. Remove personal property and valuables. Disclose known leaks, damage, fuel issues, or prior repairs. Keep the boat insured; we are not your insurer.

Outdoor Storage

The winter storage term runs September 15 through May 15 unless otherwise agreed in writing. Storage is outdoors and billed monthly as quoted, without automatic proration. Boats remaining after May 15 are billed holdover storage at the then-current monthly rate. Pontoons, oversized boats, and long trailers are quoted individually. Boats stored with us are stored at the owner’s risk except for loss caused by our negligence.

Payment

Payment is due as stated on your estimate or invoice. A deposit may be required before scheduling or ordering parts. We may hold a boat until amounts due are paid, to the extent permitted by Michigan law.

Parts

Parts are quoted and ordered only after your approval. Availability, price, and delivery dates depend on suppliers. Special-order parts may be non-returnable; see our Refund Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, except where the law does not allow this limitation. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, wear, or failures not caused by our work, or for indirect or consequential losses such as lost use of the boat.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
