Your Information
Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026
This notice explains how North Shore Powersports LLC handles information connected with northshorepowersportsmi.com and inquiries sent through its contact links, Parts Request page, online booking, and online payments.
Who to contact
North Shore Powersports LLC, Pinckney, Michigan, United States.
Email: NorthShorePowersportsllc@gmail.com
Phone: 734-550-1110. Use “Privacy Request” as your email subject for questions or requests about your information.
Information you choose to provide
The Parts Request page asks for your name, email address, the part or problem you need help with, and optional phone, boat, and engine details. Names and contact details help us respond; boat and engine details help us identify suitable parts. Without enough information, we may be unable to prepare a quote. Please do not send card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or sensitive personal information.
How the request form works
Typing into the Parts Request form does not submit those fields to a website database. Selecting “Prepare Email Request” passes the details to your email application as a draft. You must review it and press Send in that application before we receive your email. Your email application and email providers handle the draft and message under their own privacy terms.
How information is used and shared
Information you send is used to answer questions, identify requested parts, prepare quotes, communicate about requested services or orders, and maintain related business records. Our receiving mailbox is hosted by Google (Gmail). Website hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, process technical information to deliver and protect the site. If fulfilling your request involves a supplier or delivery provider, relevant order or shipping details may need to be shared with them. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to handle a legal claim.
Online scheduling (Calendly)
Our booking calendar is provided by Calendly, LLC. When you book, Calendly collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, boat location, and answers to booking questions, and shares them with us so we can confirm and prepare for your appointment. Calendly may set its own cookies and process technical information to operate the scheduler. Calendly handles that information under its own privacy notice.
Online payments (Stripe)
When online payment is offered, card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card details are entered on Stripe’s payment page and are not received or stored by North Shore Powersports. We receive payment confirmation, amount, date, and the contact details needed to match the payment to your estimate or invoice. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
Technical information and cookies
When you visit, hosting and security providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs. The current pages do not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts. The booking calendar loads Calendly’s scheduler, which may set Calendly cookies. Cloudflare may set the __cf_bm security cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic; Cloudflare documents its expiry as 30 minutes of inactivity. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking security cookies may affect access. See Cloudflare’s cookie information.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the purpose of the record. Inquiry correspondence is needed while answering and following up on your request. Records connected with completed work or orders may be needed for service history, warranties, accounting, tax obligations, or legal claims. Applicable recordkeeping requirements and unresolved disputes can require longer retention. Contact us to ask about the retention of a specific record or request deletion; records subject to legal retention requirements may need to be retained. Hosting and email providers also apply their own log, backup, and deletion schedules.
Your choices and privacy requests
Contact us using the details above to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to ask how it is used. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. Rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to your request.
Visitors in the European Economic Area
Our services are based in Michigan. Where the GDPR applies to our handling of your information, the legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract or performing that contract, legitimate interests in responding to general inquiries and protecting the website (subject to your rights), and applicable legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and complain to your local data protection authority. GDPR requests are generally answered within one month; permitted extensions will be explained. The website forms, booking calendar, and payment pages do not make automated decisions or profile you.
Location of processing
We operate in the United States, and messages sent to us are handled through our U.S. business mailbox. Hosting and email providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. If a transfer is subject to GDPR restrictions, the applicable transfer basis and safeguards must be assessed; contact us for information relevant to your request.
Security and updates
The website uses HTTPS. No website or email system can guarantee complete security. This notice may be updated when site features or information practices change; the effective date above identifies the current notice.
